About

Lawmen’s & Shooters’ Supply, Inc. was created in October 1982 when C. Reed Knight, Jr. purchased a retail gun store after working at a law enforcement equipment supply company for several years. Due to the knowledge and reputation of Mr. Knight, the top shot in the Florida Police Combat League for over 10 years in a row and co-holder of three of the world records in Practical Police Combat shooting, Lawmen’s quickly, within two years, became the largest and most dominant law enforcement equipment distributor within the state of Florida. Lawmen’s operates as a sister company to Knight’s Armament Company sharing information and resources.

Lawmen’s is a member of the National Association of Police Equipment Distributors (NAPED), a group of the largest (minimum of $2 million annual sales) distributors and manufacturers of equipment for law enforcement use, formed for the purpose of information exchange and education. In addition to distributing police equipment, Lawmen’s assists police agencies in testing and evaluating equipment, and providing training classes on firearms, ammunition, tear gas and other equipment.
Lawmen’s attends many shows, such as the International Association of Chiefs of Police (IACP), the Florida Chiefs of Police, the Florida S.W.A.T. Round-Up, and others, participating in training and exchanging information.

Lawmen’s has access to most equipment that is used by police personnel such as firearms, ammunition, leather accessories, body armor, chemical agents, narcotics and criminal investigative products, flashlights, handcuffs, riot equipment, targets, emergency vehicle equipment and other accessories.
