In addition to his current role, Ash is a retired US Army Senior NCO with a wealth of experience and expertise in the field of small arms and marksmanship.

 One notable achievement of Ash is co-authoring the “M17/M18 Handbook,” which was published by Vigilant Security Services. This publication showcases his knowledge and insights in the field.

 During his military career, Ash held several important assignments, including serving as the Senior Writer for Small Arms in the Weapons and Gunnery Branch and the US Army Infantry School Marksmanship Program developer at the Maneuver Center of Excellence Fort Benning, Georgia. These roles allowed him to contribute significantly to the development and improvement of marksmanship programs within the Army.
